Instructions for configuring SIM data DCM

Step 1

  • Insert the SIM into your phone and make sure your phone is connected to an external internet network so that the SIM configuration can be downloaded.

  • Load the SIM configuration by pressing the “Download” below or scan the QR-Code below

  • When the phone screen displays a message as shown, select: “Allow"

Step 4

  • Please return to the main screen.
  • Then select “Settings” > “General Settings” > “Manage VPN & Devices”
  • In the “DOWNLOADED CONFIGURATIONS” section, delete the pre-installed configuration (if any).
  • Then select the configuration “APN-SB-NEW” and press “Settings”
  • Then enter your phone password (if any) and continue to press “Settings”
  • Finally, click “Done” on the top right of the screen to complete the configuration for the Data SB SIM.

Step 1

  • Go to MOBILE NETWORKS, then select the APN ACCESS POINT name

Note: If your device already has a name access point SOFTBANK 4G then select, otherwise have to create a new access point with the same parameters as step 2.

Step 2

  • After clicking create new APN access point, you enter the configuration as follows:
    • Name: softbank
    • APN : plus.4g
    • Username : plus
    • Password: 4g
      (Note: all lowercase)
    • Authentication Type: CHAP
  • Save and use
