December 1st, which was yesterday, the statue of the character Doraemon bronze was unveiled at the park. Miyashita in the capital Tokyo of Japan. So I decided to go immediately because I was so excited. This is an activity within a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of this comic series. The inauguration ceremony of the statue took place on the late artist's birthday. Fujiko, author of the comic series Doraemon loved by many generations of young readers.
The statue took about two years to design and assemble from conception. It is 5,8 meters and high 3,921 meters, compared with Doraemon is 129,3 cm tall. Visitors are free to observe and touch the statue.
The statue is named after “Doraemon's Door to the Future” (roughly translated: "Doraemon's Door to the Future") by the company Fujiko Pro design, inspired by Doraemon's magical door "treasure". The company donated the work to the district shibuya, The area is being redeveloped to include futuristic architecture. I wonder how much it cost to make this statue, it looks pretty expensive!
This door is really a wonderful simulation, and I think it's even more beautiful than in the movie and in the story. Come to this place to check in, the feeling of walking through the door is like returning to your childhood.
