The Vietnam Festival in Japan was first held in 2008 as an event to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the official establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, and in 2013 it celebrated the 40th anniversary, and this year is the 9th year.

Last year's festival welcomed 18 visitors, and was the largest Vietnam-Japan exchange event in Japan. It was a bustling and exciting Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange festival, and today it has firmly established itself in the lives of the people of the two countries.
The annual festival is an opportunity to introduce and experience a “Vietnam today”, as lively as in Vietnam, with handicrafts and performing arts representing traditional Vietnamese culture such as “ao dai” or “water puppetry”, which have long been welcomed and highly appreciated by the Japanese public, performances by new artists who are popular in both countries, a series of delicious and nutritious Vietnamese dishes that suit the Japanese taste, along with tourism industry displays about world heritage sites or top resorts in Vietnam…

This year's Viet Nam Festival 2016 will continue to be a place to exchange and introduce the diverse culture of Vietnam, through cuisine, handicrafts, music and tourism, to bring you and your friends many rich experiences about Vietnam.

We look forward to welcoming you all to join us.
