MAID CAFE - "MAID" CAFE IN AKIHABARA ELECTRONIC STREET

Maid Cafe There are many branches now, however the place with the most "maid" cafes is the electronics street area. Akihabara. This is a paradise for Japanese electronics but also a great place for Otaku, those who are crazy about anime (animation). During my recent trip to Japan, I had about 2 hours to visit Akihabara electronics street to shop around. While everyone was looking for electronics to buy, I just looked around and left (because I had already bought what I needed - the One Piece anime poster). Before the trip, I also thought that if I had time, I would stop by Maid cafe to rent this uniform to wear, take pictures, film live streams and all :))) But in the end, I couldn't live stream, ladies. The thing is... you can't freely take pictures or film here. If you want to take pictures or film, you have to pay (I just learned about this rule after I got there). No wonder, right from when I was on Akihabara street - when I was about to enter the cafe Maid Cafe Maidreamin, when they saw me holding the camera, the “maid” girls all tactfully covered their faces with flyers. Besides the above rules, these “maid” cafes have a series of other rules that you need to know and follow.

Rules to follow when coming to Maid Cafe:

“Masters” are not allowed to touch or have physical contact with the maids “Masters” are not allowed to take pictures of the maids unless they pay a photo fee (500 Yen) “Masters” are not allowed to ask for the maids’ phone numbers or personal information Customers are not allowed to film the staff or take pictures of the restaurant Customers are allowed to take pictures of the food Children under 12 years old can enter the restaurant for free but will not be served the same services as adults. If they want to use drinks, food, chat with the maids… children must buy like adults.

Prices of some dishes and drinks in Maid Cafe Maidreamin that I visited:
